Hard Candy Fitness Toronto: What's New in 2015?

Do you live in Aura? Well, it’s a new year which means now is the perfect time to make use of that gym membership you all have to Hard Candy Fitness Toronto! Hard Candy Fitness Toronto is one of the top gyms in the city (and was created by Madonna!) and we’re lucky enough to have it right on the 4th floor of our building. For those of you who workout there regularly, you know all about the great classes and other offerings they have for their members, and we’re here to tell you about the other great stuff they have coming up in 2015.

First off, Hard Candy will be celebrating their one year anniversary in February! We can’t believe it’s already been an entire year since Madonna herself was at the gym for the grand opening. The club has really grown over the past year and quickly made a name for itself as one of the top gyms in the city.

So, what can you expect from them this year? Well, there is now Registered Massage Therapists onsite as well as Physiotherapists, and you can easily book an appointment with any of them at the front desk. They offer insurance receipts after each session too. How great is it that you don’t even have to leave the building to get a relaxing massage?

There’s a number of new group classes this year too. “The Beast” and “Kick-Ass Combos” are designed after Madonna’s own personal workouts (so you’re basically working out like one of the fittest women in the world), and Candy Barre is a high energy class that’s a fusion of yoga, pilates, and dance styles like ballet. Every Monday and Wednesday is also DJ Night, where you can workout to tunes being played on the spot by local DJs. It’s a really fun way to switch things up.

Hard Candy has recently ramped up their game at the Energy Bar in the gym, which offers delicious protein smoothies and healthy to-go meals from Fit Organix. They’ve recently rolled out a new payment system for Aura residents too, where you can have a prepaid tab of up to $100 at the Energy Bar. This way you don’t have to worry about bringing your wallet down to the gym and you can grab something to drink or eat on your way back to your condo. It’s all about the convenience!

Finally, you might not be aware of this but every member of Hard Candy Fitness is entitled to a free Fitness Profile assessment. This is basically a full body analysis that will help you set and work toward your goals, and the trainer will also take you through the entire gym and teach you how to use the equipment properly.

If you haven’t ventured down to Hard Candy yet, or if you’re already a regular, now you know a little bit more about what you can expect from them this year. We highly recommend you go check it out and make use of that free membership! That being said, if any of your friends who are non-Aura residents want to check out the gym, you can contact Sarah from Hard Candy at senman@hardcandyfitnesstoronto.com for some guest passes.
